Sneak Peek Of Marc Jacobs' Spring 2015 Ad Campaign

Marc Jacobs' spring 2015 campaign, which was previewed on Tuesday, plays off his fall 2014 runway aesthetics. The campaign, which takes up nine double pages, will begin to run in the January issues of prominent fashion publications, according to WWD.
High fashion models Anja Rubik, Karlie Kloss, Adriana Lima, Joan Smalls, Kendall Jenner, Natasha Poly, Anna Ewers, Aya Jones and Jessica Stam are almost unrecognizable behind fall 2014's messy bob wigs.
The models were styled by Katie Grand and are shown sporting Jacobs' military-inspired spring look.

David Sims shot the photographs, Guido Palau was responsible for the models' hair and Diane Kendal did their makeup for the shoot, WWD reported.
Burberry, Balmain, Agent Provocateur and Stuart Weitzman are just a few of the luxury brands that released spring 2015 campaigns over the past week.
Similar to Jacobs' campaign, Balmain's spring 2015 ads feature a super-team of models (and two of the same faces.) Lima and Smalls are joined by Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Isabeli Fontana and Crista Cober.
The campaign is set to debut in print in the February issues of leading fashion titles.
Most of the models also appeared on the Victoria's Secret runway in London earlier this month.
Conversely, Marc by Marc Jacobs' fall 2014 advertising campaign was cast using social media and featured "real people," as opposed to models.
"It seemed like a great idea to me, as casting through Instagram seemed cool, current and strong," Jacobs told WWD back in June.
"We wanted the ads to shout with youth and energy... to be fresh and reclaim the spirit that the collection had when we first conceived of it — to be another collection, not a second line."
Back in April, Grand asked Instagram users to submit photos of themselves with the hashtag #CastMeMarc in order to be considered for inclusion in the fall campaign.
