The singer put those famous curves on display as she stepped out in New York on Tuesday in a pink satin nightdress.

Her just-rolled-out-of-bed look was only enhanced by the messy updo she wore her curly locks in, and the casual black Converse trainers on her feet.

It is thought that Rihanna would have been heading somewhere to watch the World Cup semi-finals, as the 26-year-old has been rooting for both Brazil and Germany - the latter of which won 7-1.

Rihanna is always going to get noticed but her ensemble ensured she turned every head, and also served to keep her cool in the hot weather.

The Diamonds singer, who has an estimated net worth of $120 million, arrived into JFK airport earlier in the day toting a Louis Vuitton bag.

The Alma PM handbag retails for a cool $1,500, but is still one of the smaller ticket items from the French luxury maker, especially compared to the larger leather totes, which can cost upwards of $7,000.

Rihanna travelled from Los Angeles to New York with black jogging bottoms and trainers, along with a large striped blazer.

Despite the mixed-message outfit and the long-haul flight, Rihanna arrived looking perky and fresh for her New York stay.

On her way into the Big Apple, the Barbados-born singer threw on a big leather jacket.

Her outing comes just three days after she headed to Hooray Henry's in West Hollywood to party for the fourth of July.

The Barbados-born star was clad in a rivetingly red dress that featured sheer panels around the bodice and down the sides as well as a high-low hemline.

Her see-through frock might have passed for lingerie as she emerged from the lively den of music wearing delicately strapped red heels. She also wore tinted shades that lent her look a coolness that only a pop star can get away with.

It was also reported this week that Canadian singer Kiesza was surprised by the songs Rihanna decided to record after she penned a number of tracks for her.

She told DigitalSpy: 'The one that Rihanna has cut is one that I never in a million years expected her to pick out, so it was super interesting. It just shows that people want to evolve and try new things.

'She recorded two or three of my songs. Whether they will end up on the album, I don't know.'
