And Nicole Richie drew attention to her worryingly bony chest as she launched her House Of Harlow 1960 holiday collection at Bloomingdale's in Los Angeles on Saturday.

Slipping into an unusual black corset top, which gaped at the front slightly, the mother-of-two looked particularly slim as she posed beside a display of her glamorous accessories at the luxury retail store.

The 33-year-old socialite teamed her sweetheart black top worn over an unbuttoned white collared blouse, paired with a white draped wrap skirt.

While the bodice and skirt alone was a stylish choice, Nicole took the look one step further with the addition of the semi-sheer shirt that was rolled up at the sleeves.

A large black belt featuring an assortment of silver embellishments showed off the mother-of-two's slender waistline, and she accessorised with a chunky necklace.  

She slicked her blue-hued locks up into an effortless hairdo, and ensured her hazel eyes popped thanks to a coat of heavy mascara and a swipe of kohl eyeliner.

She added a dash of colour to her complexion with a slick of candyfloss lipstick.

Finishing off the chic look were a pair of white high heels that highlighted her toned pins.  

The former Simple Life star looked poised and cheerful as she sat behind a table, a golden sharpie at the ready as she geared up to chat with fans.

Nicole serves as creative director of House Of Harlow 1960, and the fashionista recently remarked that she has enjoys fall weather because of the ability to mix and match styles from other seasons, according to Who What Wear.

The wife of Joel Madden shared with the website: 'Fall is my favorite season to dress for, because it means layering and gives me an opportunity to play with different constructions and textures.

'I love breaking out my summer pieces and wearing them over winter pieces, like taking a turtleneck and wearing a summer dress over it.

'The world is kind of your oyster when it comes to how you’re going to style your clothes.'
