Glass Tempering Furnace
publié le 23/02/2022 à 10:05 |
A glass tempering furnace is a vital piece of glass fabrication equipment. The furnace's primary purpose is to achieve excellent transparency and flatness, and it has various features to ensure a good yield per charge. A blower and collector group are adjustable for factory space and can be configured to meet specific requirements. A discharge trolley is included, which allows the operator to load and unload the tempered glass with ease. The temperature control and the heating time are adjusted by a driver.
The size of a glass tempering furnace is also critical. They typically range in size from five to eight feet wide. The temperature and pressure ranges for these furnaces vary widely. A blower on top of the glass tempering furnace is sufficient, while a blower on the bottom helps cool the glass at a faster rate. A heat control system is a key feature in a glass tempering apparatus, and a high-quality heating system is essential for the smooth performance of the operation.
A modern glass tempering furnace can reach temperatures of over 650 deg C. A typical tempering system has three to four blowers, which can result in significant energy savings. This method can increase the temperature range by up to four degrees. A high-performance system should be able to reach the temperature range of glass and be quick to cool the molten glass. The heating process should be as efficient as possible to avoid damaging the finished product.
Depending on the thickness of the glass, a furnace can have as many as three blowers. A blower on the top can be positioned above the glass, while a blower at the bottom will prevent the glass from breaking in the chiller. The two blowers will ensure that the molten material is cooled to room temperature after the furnace has completed its job. This is an important feature of a glass tempering furnace, as a small amount of water will cause a white haze on the surface of the glass.
A high-quality horizontal glass tempering furnace should have a low-pressure quench. A high-pressure furnace will make the glass more durable and easier to handle. Besides, it will cut down the labor and energy costs for the operators. A high-quality furnace will be able to meet the demands of both the manufacturer and the customer. The energy cost will be lowered significantly if the glass is produced quickly. The molten substance will be of superior quality and be admired by customers.
The temperature and pressure of a glass tempering furnace should be selected carefully. The temperature and pressure must be consistent and low enough to prevent the breakage of the glass. Moreover, it should be high enough to prevent the glass from cracking. Higher pressure will ensure that the melted material is uniform and high-quality. Once the temperature of the glass is right, the process will be fast and smooth. With an automated system, you can save money and time.
