How to Choose a FM Transmitting Antenna
publié le 18/11/2021 à 04:16 |
You may be wondering how to choose a fm transmitter antenna. The process is similar to choosing any other part of your home. It starts with determining the type of FM signal you're receiving. Once you've decided on that, you need to consider your location and the amount of reflected and direct signal you'd like to receive. Once you've figured out where your station will be, you can start to think about the type of antenna that will best suit your needs.
A good fm transmitting antenna should be able to reject unwanted signals. This means you shouldn't use a high-gain FM antenna if you live in a metropolitan area. Then, you should select an antenna that features a wide beam width. Antennas that are too narrow will have trouble receiving signal from the side. You should use a tunable 1/4-wave ground plane.
The distance from the transmitter to the receiver is the same. You'll need to increase the frequency if you want to receive more radio frequencies. In addition, make sure that you choose an antenna with a long beam, which will give you more range. However, keep in mind that an antenna must be at least 4km wide to be effective. During long-haul radio broadcasts, an FM transmitting antenna is a good choice if it has a large bandwidth.
An antenna with a long range will only cover about 80 kilometers. An antenna that is too short will send the signal outside the standard FM spectrum, affecting the coverage area. You can also choose a telescoping antenna if you don't want to compromise on its range. It's important to remember that the length is not the only factor when choosing an FM transmitting system. You should also be aware of the distance of your coverage area.
When choosing an antenna, consider the size and frequency of the signal you want to transmit. A wide beamwidth will get the desired radio signals, while a narrow beamwidth will block other signals. You should also make sure that the antenna will fit your frequency. Then, you can buy a smaller fm transmitter antenna if your signal is weak.
