  • 100mm Aluminium Tubing
    publié le 18/08/2021 à 11:25

The 100mm aluminium tube is one of the most common and popular shaped tubes in use today. The main benefit to this is that it can be used for a large number of things, due to its high strength/weight ratio and durability. The main downside to this is that they are typically relatively expensive, although prices have been coming down over time. In some situations, they are used for their aesthetics as well, such as with window canopies.

The 100mm aluminium tube has been around since the 1950s and was originally designed as an aircraft fuel tank. This is because it is capable of storing a great deal of fuel for a long period of time, thanks to its great strength. It has excellent thermal qualities and is resistant to corrosion. However, this makes it unsuitable for use in places where there is frequent exposure to salt water or corrosive chemicals.

Due to its excellent resistance to corrosion, the tube is also suitable for use in situations where protection against corrosion is of paramount importance. As well as this, the fact that the material can be made thin means that designers have the ability to create thicker and more resilient tubes. The tubes can be made to have a high gloss finish, meaning that the tube itself is free from unsightly scratches. It is also possible to get these tubes in a wide range of colours, helping to add to their versatility. Due to the fact that they can be printed on, many businesses can get creative with the design of their signage.

100mm tubes can be found in a wide range of different shapes. They can be arranged into a wide range of configurations, such as having the central tube surrounded by an outer ring. This allows them to be attached to structures easily, making them useful in construction and transportation applications. The tubes themselves do not have to be very thick, but are generally between three and five millimetres thick, depending on what they are being used for. With this type of thickness, they offer a much greater level of flexibility than the traditional tubes that are available.

Using tubes made from 100mm aluminium, designers have the ability to create structures which appear as though they have been handmade, thanks to the small holes that are cut into the material. As well as this, the small rings that surround the main tube have a definite shape to them, meaning that the shape of the structure will follow the pattern of the ring. For example, if a building site were to require a steel tube, it is likely that a traditional round shaped tube would be used, due to the ease of manufacturing and the large sizes that can be achieved. However, the same could not be said for 100mm tubes. Because of the small sizes, they are more rigid and thus require a stronger base, meaning that the design will follow a simple geometric pattern.

Although these tubes are used for commercial construction purposes, they are also suitable for use in residential areas. For this reason, many people prefer to build their own houses out of timber, rather than having builders produce concrete and metal housing. Even if you are unable to source 100mm aluminium tubes, you should still be able to find suitable wooden tubes. These can then be used to create your own home, following the basic plan which has been produced by the architect.
