Until I started looking at watches I really had no idea what a titanium watch was. I always thought a watch was made out of stainless steel. However, that is not the case. Titanium watches are as you may have guessed made out of titanium.

The titanium in a watch has the ability to withstand water corrosion. This is what makes it so appealing to own if you are a water sports (boating, diving, surfing) person. Having a titanium watch is a bit of a fashion statement. However, titanium is unable to be bonded with gold plating so you won't be able to have a gold plated titanium watch.

Watches made of titanium are also made of different titanium alloys of different sorts. The manufacturers don't really say what the alloy is but they will say their watch is made of a titanium alloy. Zenith watches' inner parts are made of titanium. Some of these watches are massive, manly and give "wrist presence". This is what a lot of men have been buying. So basically a luxury watch like this is exactly what it's name means; a watch made of titanium. However, because they are titanium they are extremely durable and rugged. Some are extremely expensive and fashionable status symbols. Your more expensive titanium watch can be found in expensive jewelery stores or even online. Other titanium watches that are more affordable for the everyday Joe can be found just about anywhere. You can find them at the mall in certain stores or at the mall in the kiosks or even online
