What is the run time of APPLE A1406 battery?

APPLE A1406 have two main ratings on them: Volts and Amperes. Because size and weight of batteries is limited when compared to larger batteries such as car batteries, most companies show their ratings with Volts and Milliamperes. One thousand Milliamperes equals 1 Ampere. When buying a battery, select batteries with the most Milliamperes (or mAh). Batteries are also rated by Watt-Hours, perhaps the simplest rating of all. This is found by multiplying the Volts and the Amperes together.

There are several steps you can take to help you get maximum performance from your APPLE battery:

1. If you are not using the internet turn off your wifi connection and lower the intensity of your backlight (hold down function and move the arrows up or down to change intensity).
2. Let the power of the batteries (15%) drain to 0% When you use your brand new Battery first time. And then full charge it(usually chrage it full 12 hours) and let it drain to 0% again. Do this for 2~3 cycles.
3. Don't leave your computer plugged in constantly when it is not in use.

5.Unplug any external devices that you don't need such as using a usb or bluetooth mouse .
6. If you are not using the device, do not put your laptop battery in the device for an extended period of time.
