The wait for Path of Exile on PlayStation 4 just adopted a little longer. Developer Grinding Gear Games has announced how the PlayStation 4 edition won't launch in December as planned.

In your site post, the developer apologised to the delay, and explained the studio "underestimated how much work it would choose to use finish the POE Currency certification process through the busy Christmas period."

Grinding Gear has become expecting to finish the certification process by January, while using game potentially launching during the early February on PS4. The studio will never be sitting by idly twiddling its thumbs between once in a while, because studio said the other time will permit the developer to improve Path of Exile's performance and frame rate for PS4.

"Again, we're very sorry with this," the studio said. "We promise that Path of Exile will likely be awesome on PlayStation 4 if it's released early buy."
